EarWings Earrings - Our products are made from real butterfly wings that have been hardened using a patented process to make them extremely durable—while keeping them very lightweight and still retaining their natural colors and beauty. Most Earwings use 100% Sterling Silver settings and fixtures. Some clearly marked items are gold and silver plated brass settings. 14k gold is available by special order. Each pair of Earwings are unique. And, since there are thousands of butterflies in nature, Earwings come in a large variety of colors and patterns. Earwings are weatherproof and durable. They should be treated as a piece of thin glass. They can be cleaned with a damp rag. With some care, they should last for years!

NeckWings Necklaces— Like the Earwings above, Neckwings , are made from real butterfly or dragonfly wings that have been hardened using a patented process to make them extremely durable—while keeping them very lightweight and still retaining their natural colors and beauty. All Neckwings are made with either 100% Sterling Silver or 14k gold settings and chains. Neckwings also come in a large variety of patterns and colors.

Wing Charms— Like the Earwings above, Wing Charms are made from real butterfly wings that have been hardened using a patented process to make them extremely durable—while keeping them very lightweight and still retaining their natural colors and beauty. They are a fashionable and beautiful way to help keep track of one’s glass amongst all of the other identical glasses at dinner or a party.

Wingpins Brooches— Like the Earwings above, Wingpins are made from real butterfly or dragonfly wings that have been hardened using a patented process to make them extremely durable—while keeping them very lightweight and still retaining their natural colors and beauty. All Wingpins are made 100% Sterling Silver pins and settings. Wingpins also come in a large variety of patterns and colors.

Floraflies— Floraflies are Real Butterflies that have been mounted on a pin and preserved in a natural flying position. The undersides of Floraflies , have been coated with a preservative to give them some strength and durability. They are, in no way, as durable as our “hardened” products listed above. However, they are strong enough to allow for touching and incidental contact. Floraflies come in a strong plastic case containing from one to four butterflies. They may be left in the case and used simply for display. Or, they can be removed and pinned to fresh flowers, dried flowers, candles, curtains or anywhere your imagination can conceive. When desired, Floraflies can be placed back in the plastic case for storage and display.

Butterfly Mounting Kits— These are kits that contain everything one would need to mount dried butterflies for display or for scientific purposes. Each kit contains a balsa wood mounting board, a relaxing jar, pins, forceps, strips and several butterflies for mounting.

Hairwings— Hairwings are Real Butterflies that have been mounted on a hair stick and preserved in a natural flying position. They are double laminated for strength—but are still fragile compared to our “hardened” products above.
